UNESCO Chair in Bioethics 14th World Conference on Bioethics, Medical Ethics and Health Law
March 8-11, 2021; Porto, Portugal

The UNESCO Chair in Bioethics is pleased to invite you to become an active participant at the 14th World Conference on Bioethics, Medical Ethics and Health Law to be held in Porto on May 11-14, 2020.  The Conference is designed to offer a platform for the exchange of information and knowledge and to hold discussions, lectures, workshops and exhibitions of programs and databases.

We are pleased to announce that the 14th World Conference on Bioethics, Medical Ethics and Health Law will once again include a special session devoted to Bioethics and the Holocaust. The moral failures of the medical establishment during the Third Reich challenge medical educators in a way like few other events. Incorporating an understanding of medicine and the Holocaust into the medical curriculum can be a valuable way to encourage future healthcare providers to learn from past events that have transformed biomedical ethics and continue to inform practice and research.
